We have over 150 local and national traders joining us at Belton International Horse Trials this year to showcase a wide range of products. Whether it’s food, fashion or flowers you’re after, you’re sure to find it at Belton!

Businesses will be setting up shop across the weekend for visitors to browse and purchase their favourite products.

bars & food

We have food and drinks available to purchase across the site in Belton in our traditional food courts. If you fancy trying something new, make a stop at one of our artisan food stalls, or pick up something from a local trader.

We have a wide variety of bars and food stalls open all weekend - grab yourself a tasty treat!

Gin Den

Local and National Gin traders will be pitching up from 13th - 15th April at Belton to showcase their spirits. The so called ‘ginaissance’ is well and truly on - join the movement at Belton by paying a visit to our brand new Gin Den.

The Gin Den will be open for business all weekend for visitors to sample and purchase from their favourite exhibitors.

dog agility & show

Give your furry friend a shot at glory with our dog agility. All dogs are welcome to have a go running around the agility course to show off their skills. It’s always a fun watch for those without a pooch, too.

The dog agility course will be open all day Saturday and Sunday. Keep your eyes peeled for fun shows and demonstrations!

Family Zone

Keep the kids entertained for hours in our fun Family Zone! We’ve got a wide choice of exciting rides and games to be enjoyed by all in our fairground, as well as dog shows and demonstrations.

The Family Zone at Belton will be open all weekend, with rides such as teacups and a merry-go-round for children to enjoy.

Classic Car Show

The Belton Classic Car Show is a crowd favourite, and always an attraction nobody likes to miss. Everything from a 1920’s Bentley to a 2006 TVR have been showcased at the event, and with over 50 entries year in year there’s always plenty to see.

Hovis the Horse

We’ve got a star guest joining us at Belton 2018 - blogging Clydesdale horse, Hovis! Visitors can catch a one-off performance by Hovis, when he is ridden by Olympic athlete Mary King.

Limited ‘Hovis’ tickets are on sale now for lucky visitors to meet the famous horse.

Band Stand

Throughout Saturday and Sunday we’ll be providing the soundtrack to your weekend at our Band Stand. Two different artists will take to the stage in three different time slots each to provide the perfect backing track to the event.

Located close to food stands and seating, visitors can sit back, relax and enjoy the music.

Nags Essentials Gate Jumping

After tense moments and nail-biting finales in previous years, Gate Jumping returns for 2018 jam-packed with action. The competition sees riders attempt to jump gates without knocking them down - every life lost is an item of clothing removed!

Who will jump the highest fence with their clothes still on?!

Brown & Co Inter Hunt Relay

The Inter Hunt Relay brings riders together, working as a team to complete a tough course. Team members will take turns to open the gate before rounding the course and passing the whip on to the team in a relay style.

Don’t miss out on the excitement - the Inter Hunt Relay will return Saturday 14th April.

Pony Club Mounted Games

The fast and furious Pony Club Mounted Games return to Belton 2018, with young riders raring to go and ready to compete. The small but mighty ponies and their young, courageous riders compete in a range of games throughout the day.

The Pony Club will be entertaining spectators throughout Saturday 14th April, with junior and senior teams battling it out to take home the title.

Dressage demo

Our ever-popular Dressage demo is back with a bang this year, as Ian and Amy Woodhead join us to give expert advice on what Dressage is all about and what judges might be looking for.

Catch ex-eventer and well-respected coach Ian giving his demonstration on Sunday 15th April.

10k Run

The region’s favourite off-road running race will again be taking place at Belton International Horse Trials. Organised by Grantham Running Club, the 10k cross country course runs through the stunning grounds of Belton House and overlooks the main events.
