The competition will take place at Osberton International on Thursday 29th Sept. All horses will complete the following:

• A simple dressage test (linked above)
• A combined show jumping (approx 8 fences) and cross country (approx 10 fences) at BE90 standard
• The cross country section will be over natural fences and offer the opportunity for the horses to show their paces at speed

Horses will be awarded good marks for for dressage and potential and general impression in all phases. Faults incurred in the jumping phases will be awarded as per BE rules (a rail SJ = 4 faults, a stop or run out XC = 20 faults). These penalties will be subtracted from the dressage mark. The horse with the highest marks will win. In the case of an equality, general impression and potential marks will decide the winner (with weight given to jumping marks)

• Entry Fee - £72 (£60 + VAT)
• Prize Money will be awarded and will be available to claim at the end of the competition via the link at the top of this page
• Winner of the Showcase will be awarded a nomination to either Ansiei or Venterprise on a Live Foal Guarantee to be used in the 2023 breeding season to the owners of the highest placed British bred horse (Mare or Gelding) finishing the competition. This will not include any other costs such as collection, vets, postage
• Open to all horses foaled in 2018
• All horses and riders entered MUST be registered with British Eventing database (free registration)
• The competition will be limited to approximately 35 horses
• If excessive entries, a ballot will take place by the organisers. Preference will be given to horses that have completed a double clear at BE80 or BE90 in 2022.
• Wild card entries maybe accepted at the organiser's discretion
