It is with sadness that we have to announce the cancellation of BCA Horse Trials, due to run on 12th – 13th June. Due to the current situation with COVID, the college are unable to host the event on our dates, as they will have exams and placements happening onsite.

We have worked with British Eventing and other organisers to look at alternative dates, but sadly there were none possible for both the college and British Eventing.

We will be back in 2022, with another full weekend of sport and hopefully sunshine, and we hope that we will see many of you at other BEDE Events this year.

Course Information

Course Designers are Mr John Farrell (show jumping) and Mr Andrew Hunter (cross country).

Significant changes have been made to the courses for this year. Several new fences will be included on all courses. The course runs over gently undulating permanent pasture, includes a water pond in all classes and is designed to be a fair test for less experiences horses. Every effort will be made to ensure good going on the cross country, dressage, showjumping and warm up courses, and all will be aerated and watered as necessary. The outdoor school may be used for show jumping if necessary.

No car passes are needed or issued for BCA as there are no charges for admission
