Driving Trials:

Novice Pony, Novice Horse, Intermediate Pony, Intermediate Horse, Open Single Pony, Open Single Horse, Advanced Pony, Advanced Horse, Open Pony Pairs, Open Horse Pairs, Advanced Pony Pairs, Advanced Horse Pairs, Pony Tandems, Horse Tandems, Pony Four-In-Hand, Horse Four-In-Hand

Stabling

Temporary Stabling is available at a cost of £120 per stable for the duration of the event. Please book stabling with your entries. Bedding will be available for purchase from the event bedding supplier; no paper bedding allowed. No electric fencing to be used for stabling unless by special permission. Only horses/ponies entered for the event will be allowed on the showground unless by permission of the organisers

Overnight Accommodation

Horseboxes, portable stabling and temporary yards will be welcome in the area allocated as the horsebox park from 9am on Wednesday 27th Sept 2023. An allocation of 12m x 15m will be made available for each competitor, all vehicles, stabling will be required to be kept within these limits where possible. If you require more area this must be booked at the time of entry. We will endeavor to accommodate all requests.

Showers will be available in the lorry park. Power Hook ups and are available and must be pre booked with your entry. Electric Hook Up is £132. Generators will be turned on, on Wednesday 27th Sept.

ATV's

Competitors should be aware that it is the policy throughout the showground for the Horse Trials that no quad bikes/ATVs are permitted and therefore this has to also apply to the driving. Electric bikes are welcome, although these must not be ridden on the Section B track before Sunday morning. Competitors in possession of a BC Disabled pass may apply direct to the organiser to see if an exceptional permit can be issued.

Power Hook Up

Power hook up is available and must be booked when entering - Cost - £132 and the generators will be turned on, on Wednesday 29th Sept

Some obstacles will be used for the Horse Trials on Saturday so please ensure you walk these outside competition times.

Evening Entertainment

Thursday evening: Welcome Party for all in Bar

Friday evening entertainment: Live Band

Saturday evening entertainment: DJ Set

Event catering will be available throughout the show. A variety of outlets are available.

Bistro restaurant is available on site for booking through the show office (this does book out, so early reservations are advisable). The booking link will be available nearer to the event

The Triple Bar is open throughout the show.

Prize Giving

Final Prizegiving on foot, approx. 1530, Sunday 1st October. Competitors finishing in 1st to 3rd places must attend.

The Worshipful Company of Saddlers will present a training voucher to each para driver and young driver (as stipulated for British Carriage driving Young Members) who completes, without retiral or elimination, 3 National or Regional events in the current calendar year (the National Championships may count as one of the events). Multiple prizes will not be awarded. Applications for this award must be made to the BC office by 31st October 2023.
