Mini-Major PC Pairs Showcase

This event is running to offer Pony Club members and Pony Clubs to use the Eventing Spring Carnival to showcase their talent and sport, within the main arena on Saturday 1st April. Each rider will be interviewed on arrival into the Main Arena, and asked some questions about themselves and their pony. Then they will go out and jump.

Before this class kicks off, there will be a Tack and Turnout Prize, which will be judged by Olympic Groom Francesca Gorni, who was groom to Team Gold and Silver medalist Tom McEwen at Tokyo 2020

This is an unique opportunity to ride alongside some of the World's best eventing stars, and we encourage your Pony Clubs to come and support.

£25 per pair

Each pair to consist of one junior member aged 12 or under on the day of the competition and one senior member aged 13 and over on the day of the competition. Both members must be members of the same Pony Club. The junior member will jump the first part of the course (approx. 6 jumps) before handing over to the senior member who will jump the rest of the course (approx. 6 jumps).

The winners will be the pair with the least jumping faults closest to the optimum time.

RESTRICTIONS:

Ponies/horses/riders may only jump once.

Ponies or Riders must not be competing in the Pony Club Team Show Jumping at Thoresby

If oversubscribed, branches will have pairs limited.
