Owners will need to download their QR code from their British Eventing Account, and the QR code will be displayed there. Please ensure you have printed this off, or have it on your phone to scan on arrival. This will allow all occupants into the event. Please read all information HERE including Syndicate Owners.

If you are coming into the event you will need an admission ticket - each rider is allocated 2 free admission passes to be used by family, grooms etc. The link to download these, will be sent to you, after entries have been accepted. If you do not have a ticket on entry you will be asked to pay and fill in a refund request form. All refund request forms will be assessed post event and there is no guarantee you will get a refund. Event Location

Thoresby Park is located a short drive from the A57/A1 junction. Please follow the event postcode (NG22 9EP) until you pick up event signage which will direct you to the correct gate.

Please note - NO ACCESS for event traffic is through the Thoresby Hall Hotel

Accommodation

Please note there is limited space for additional caravans or tents for camping within the lorry park. Unfortunately we are unable to have a campsite on site this year, due to the rising costs and limited space. However please head to the Owners Page to see locations of local campsites and accommodation partners.

The onsite hotel - Thoresby Hall - is offering a full package for accommodation. Please see below for a link to all accommodation partners.

Accommodation Providers

Stabling

There is a limited number of 250 stables available onsite at Thoresby. These will be booked on a first come first served basis. All stables must be booked at the time of entry, via the Event Extras on the British Eventing Entries Page.

We are unable to sell stables for individual nights, if you are looking for single nights then please see our local stabling list.

Stables will be £174 for the duration of the event inclusive of VAT, which will include 2 bales of bedding. More bedding and haylage will be available for purchase on arrival.

Please see HERE for local stabling list - all off site stabling payments must be made to the provider.

All CCI4*-S competitors choosing to utilise the FEI Stabling Derogation and stable off-site and a location not booked through the OC must provide full details of the location and the person responsible.

It is the Person Responsible (PR) responsibility to ensure the Minimum Stable Requirements for Horses during an Event as per the FEI Veterinary Regulations Article 1008.III.10 are adhered to.

Please ensure you have filled out the form (linked above) prior to arrival on site

Hook Up

Hook will be available in the lorry park at £140 incl of VAT for the duration of the event. Again this will need to be booked at time of entry via the event extras page on the BE entry form.

If you are requiring an additional caravan/motorhome next to your lorry, you will need to book Owner Camping Lorry Park and if required Hook Up via the BE entries page (Event Extras) at the time of entering. These spaces are extremely limited. Unless the vehicles come in together we cannot guarantee you will be pitched together.

Course Information

The course at Thoresby will be of good international standard. Following similar route to the 2020 ‘Thoresberton’ course it will make full use of great viewing on the lawns. We have re-routed some of the river meadow course to avoid the low lying flat and altered the finish route after the bridge. The course will be up to height, but designed as the first major run of the year for all levels. Riders need to be aware that the course on the lawn will have lots of atmosphere as it loops around the main arena and trade village.

Additional Prizes

Polly Phillips Memorial Trophy - £500 to the highest placed British Rider in the Grantham Cup, irrespective of their score, who has not yet represented Great Britain at Senior Championships (Olympic, World or European).

Leading Rider - Points will be awarded to the top 6 placings in all classes across the event. Riders will accur points and each day an updated leaderboard will be available. The winner will be the rider who has accumulated the most points over the weekend, and they will be presented with a trophy at the final prize giving, along with money for the top three riders.
