We always love welcoming new volunteers to our sport. We welcome everyone from amateurs to experts, and all necessary training is provided.
There are many benefits that come with being a Bede Events volunteer. We run three activities a year exclusively for our volunteers, with previous activities including yard visits with first-class riders and a tour around the Redmount Army depot which houses Kings Troop and Household Cavalry horses. We also have a volunteers-only party, and offer vouchers to helpers to be redeemed against start fees or Cross Country schooling.
Eventing is a unique sport which we’re extremely passionate about. We’re privileged to host our events at some of the most beautiful sites in the country, and to welcome top quality eventers. To get involved, and join us in bringing our fantastic sport to life, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01949 829061.
The initial Osberton deployment is now ready!! Please see lists below. Please do bear in mind, we have not yet finalised the timetable, so we may not be doing dressage on Wednesday, but will confirm shortly! Do have a look and I do appreciate many of your offers were made in December last year, so things may have changed. Do let me know if I have made error etc, so I can rectify them by emailing me on the email below.
If you are planning to camp on site at Osberton, please can you register here as if you don't book, I can't guarantee there will be space for all!! We just need this so we can peg out for you all. When you click through, you will need to validate yourself with your BEDE volunteers number (on the back of your pass) and your surname. There is no cost to book a caravan, but there is a small cost for power. The Link is here
Please email me should be available to help us, as sadly my database is taking a holiday! My email is email@example.com
with very many thanks

VOLUNTEERS POLICY: As with any sport, we rely heavily on volunteers to be able to run our events to the highest standard. We require around 200 volunteers for our smaller events, and both Bede Events and the riders involved appreciate the hard work they contribute. As a token of our gratitude, we offer all volunteers a £15 voucher for every day of volunteering at an Bede British Eventing Affiliated Event (Oasby 1, Belton, Shelford 1, BCA, Firle, Aske, Shelford 2, Osberton and Oasby 2).These vouchers can be redeemed against start fees at any Bede Event, and must be presented when collecting your number. Any feedback regarding our events can be emailed directly to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The following terms and conditions apply to vouchers: 1) Vouchers must be claimed at from the event office at the event you are volunteering at. Unfortunately we are not able to provide vouchers retrospectively. 2) Vouchers are not transferable and can only be used by the person named on the voucher. 3) Please be aware there is an expiry date on vouchers, and we will not accept these once this date has passed. 4) Only one voucher can be used per transaction.
We occasionally have branded merchandise for sale and will endeavour to offer a discount to our volunteers on these items. Please keep an eye out both on our website and at the event office for offers on point of sale. Regular volunteers who commit to a number of days throughout the season will be issued with a Bede Official’s Card following the pre-season email. This is valid on all days of all chargeable events (Belton, Osborne and Osberton) regardless of whether or not you are volunteering.
