Bedeveloped are committed to deliver opportunities for education, learning and sharing of best practice amongst the equestrian community. Run along side the international horse trials, workshops and courses allow opportunities for ‘on event’ training, giving participants greater insight and understanding when learning. Our vision is to bring like minded individuals and companies together for a week of networking, learning and conferencing.

All conferencing includes admission to the event.

First Aid Training

Wednesday 28th September, welcomes Medi-K who are hosting First Aid training.

This First Aid training is open to everyone, and Medi-K specialise in first aid for riders. An opportunity to bring your first aid training up to date with ‘equestrian’ focused training.

The cost for the course is £80, which will include a light lunch, refreshments and free access (including car parking) to one day at the Event*.

BEVA Event Incident Management Conference

Thursday 29th September - we welcome British Equine Veterinary Association for an Incident Management conference which will help veterinary delegates fine tune their performance - both vets under pressure and the sports horse; looking at specific emergencies, how to work at courses better and essentially- tips for making decisions under pressure with delegates learning how to remain calm and triage the acutely lame horse and transport it off course in the optimum way. The day will include both class room and ‘on event’ practical sessions.

Course Construction and Design


Thursday 29th & Friday 30th Sept welcomes course designers and builders to two full days of practical training, with Eric Winter, James Willis, Helen West, Mats Bjornetum, Chris Bartle and Jim Green.

Both days will include practical training alongside classroom discussions.

Thursday 29th will look at Course Construction including the latest news and information on the MIM's Technology and serious incident management.

Friday 30th will look at Course Design, with emphasis on how designers create a pathway and education route for both riders and horses.

Course walk will be joined by leading riders to give riders perspective.

British Eventing Stewards Training

British Eventing will be hosting a training day for all stewards on Saturday 1st October. Covering a range of subjects pertinent to the Stewards roles in the field. The day will start with a review of new rules and management of evolving changes.

Presentations by leading coaches and officials will bring a new view to the safety and management of events. Cross country and Show Jumping course walks with riders and coaches will be included.

Coaches & Trainers

Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd Oct, finishing the week, we welcome Coaches to two days of training with course leaders, Matt Lanni, Eric Winter and Chris Bartle.

These days will look at many aspects of coaching show jumping and cross country, including warming up, course riding and training away from an event. Working with coaches to ensure their pupils are well prepared to face the three days of competition. Design of both Cross country and show jumping will be discussed with the opportunity to work with top designers, to understand their thoughts on questions they ask.

Course walks, both show jumping and cross country, will be joined by leading riders to give a riders perspective.
