When can we see the Cross Country?

At Osborne, visitors will be able to enjoy the thrilling action of the cross country on both Wednesday and Thursday. Set in the valley in front of Osborne House, there are spectacular viewing positions that enable views of much of the course form one position.

What should I wear?

We don’t have a dress code in force at Osborne, but do be wary of our typical British weather conditions! It can be rain one minute and sun the next, so we suggest bringing waterproofs, wellies and sun cream. The event site is spread out over a vast area with lots of walking required to reach each discipline, as well as the hops and traders. There are various bars and food trucks to rest at in between but we recommend wearing comfortable, suitable footwear.

Are dogs allowed at Osborne?

We’re more than happy for you to bring your furry friend along for the day out at Osborne – the more the merrier! We have a dog agility course for them to have a go at, and a family dog show running over the weekend. However we do have a few ground rules for you and your pooch. Please ensure dogs are kept on a short lead at all times, for both their safety and those around them. Our cross country course runs through the park, and so any owner found with a dog off the lead will incur a penalty fine (which we donate to our chosen charity) and may be asked to leave the site. Please also take care to clean up after your dogs.
