Hopefully we have included all the information you may need on the website, however, if we haven’t here are a few frequently asked questions that may help to answer any queries you have...

Will the event be affect by COVID-19?

Unfortunately due to the uncertainty of the Corona virus we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 event. We look forward to welcoming you back on 1st - 3rd April 2021.

Do you allow dogs at the Eventing Spring Carnival?

We encourage you to bring your four-legged friends to Thoresby with both ‘have a go’ dog agility and a family dog show running over the weekend.

Please ensure that dogs are kept on a short lead and under control at all times. It incredibly dangerous to both horses and riders if your dog gets; any owners with dogs found to be off the lead will incur a penalty fine (donated to the charity of our choice) and you may be asked to leave the site. Please ensure you clean up after your dogs and place waste in relevant bins.

Does my carer get in for free?

Yes, all carers who are accompanying a disabled visitor will get free entry into the event. All disabled visitors will need to purchase an admission ticket and bring proof of disability on entry. If the carer is not coming with the disabled visitor they will need to purchase an admission ticket.

When can we see the Cross Country?

Thoresby is a series of 3 one day events so all three phases are running on all three days. If you’d prefer to see the international Cross Country pop along on Sunday. Please click here for more information about what’s going on when at Thoresby.

What should I wear?

There is no dress code, but the event will run come rain or shine so remember to bring a rain coat, wellies and sun cream! The event site is spread over a large area, and the terrain is uneven in places so please ensure that you wear suitable footwear especially if you plan to walk to Cross Country Course and browse the extensive offering of shops!

Is parking included in the ticket price?

Yes it is. Please follow the event signage which will direct you to where you need to park. Public parking on Friday will be in the members car park, which is adjacent to the main show site.

On Saturday and Sunday we will be operating a park and ride system. This is free of charge and takes about 5 minutes. Please bear with us in peak times as a slight delay might occur. The first shuttle will leave the public car parks at 0830 each morning and will continue throughout the day
